When the Spanish Civil War erupted, he boldly relocated his family and business to Córdoba, Mexico, launching an innovative coffee packaging venture that specialized in fractional packs for hospitality businesses and traders. While maintaining their Madrid roots, his ambitious son, Carlos de Aldecoa Pereda, joined the family legacy in 1959, brilliantly expanding their roasting operations into the United States market. The early 1980s marked a significant milestone as he constructed a cutting-edge decaffeination facility in Mexico, serving numerous Mexican and American coffee companies.
In 1985, a new chapter unfolded with the establishment of Coffee Process Tech Corp in Houston, Texas, USA. This privately-owned decaf and steaming facility emerged as a powerhouse, serving roasters and traders domestically and internationally. Their independent ownership enables remarkable flexibility in receiving, processing, and shipping coffee to any customer-specified destination. The unique processes have been masterfully refined by the family over generations.
The 1990s ushered in the third generation, working under the dynamic leadership of Carlos de Aldecoa Pereda and Maria Bueno de Aldecoa, with their five children expertly managing operations, logistics, and production. Today, their three daughters skillfully oversee various aspects of the business, from trading and production to sales and administration.
